BMX Supercross track

BMX

Opened on 27 June 2014, the WCC’s BMX Supercross track is 400 metres long and was designed with the aim of providing riders of all abilities with a training facility suited to their needs.

The track is equipped with two start ramps measuring eight and five metres high, and its first three straights are split into two to cater for everyone.

The Pro section offers experienced riders the best possible conditions for training for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, where BMX will be on the Olympic programme for the third time.

Meanwhile, the Challenge section features obstacles more suited to less seasoned riders, allowing them to develop their skills in the safest possible environment.

Adjoining the WCC building, the all-new BMX track affords stunning views of the Swiss Alps.

The BMX Supercross track complex also features a 150-metre pump track and 500-metre running track, which are open to everyone, seven days a week.

Entities having participated in the financing of the BMX track
Office Fédéral du Sport, L’Etat de Vaud, La Fondation « Fonds du Sport Vaudois », Le Fonds du Sport Valaisan, La Commission cantonale LoRo-Sport Fribourg, La Commission LoRo-Sport Neuchâte
