2017-2018 Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup: new bonuses for consistency
The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to announce that the overall best-ranked riders of the individual sprint, keirin, Omnium and Madison at the 2017-2018 Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup will receive bonus prize money.
These four specialities will be raced at all five rounds of the 2017-2018 Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup, and once their overall final rankings have been established, bonuses will be distributed in both the Men’s and Women’s categories as follows:
· Winners of the final overall ranking: CHF 10,000
· 2nd in the final overall ranking: CHF 6,000
· 3rd in the final overall ranking: CHF 2,000.
These bonuses for the overall best-ranked Men and Women are in addition to the prize money already awarded to the winners of each individual round of the UCI World Cup, as published in the UCI Financial Obligations.
The 2017-2018 Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup gets under way this weekend in Pruszków (Poland). The following rounds will be held in Manchester (Great Britain) November 10-12, Milton (Canada) December 2-3, Santiago (Chile) December 9-10, and Minsk (Belarus) January 19-21, 2018.
